Peugeot develops solar energy charging station for EVs in France

The Driveco Parasol is a charging station comprising 88 photovoltaic panels and lithium-ion batteries for the production and storage of solar energy. Understanding Lithium-Ion Battery Safety and Its Implications

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) report about the January 7, 2013, fire on board a Japan Airlines Boeing 787-8 aircraft at Boston’s Logan Airport said that the fire involved a lithium-ion battery located in the aircraft’s the auxiliary power unit (APU) and was followed by a second fire, nine days later, in Japan involving the main battery unit of another Boeing 787 aircraft.
